MARINA BEACH

The marina beach is the longest beach in India covering a distance of 7 kilometer from fort ST. George to foreshore in the south it is the main attraction in the city . it is one of the highest visited beach in country with approx. 50000 visitors during weekends

EGMORE MUSEUM

The Government Museum also known as Egmore Museum or the Madras Museum is the second oldest museums in India. The Government Museum originated from the museum in Madras which was planned by the Madras Literary Society in 1846. It is also the largest museum in South Asia rich in archaeological and numismatic collection. It has the largest collection of Roman antiquities outside Europe.

SEMMOZHI POONGHA

The garden was opened on 24 November 2010 by then chief Minister M. Karuna Nidhi and is the first botanical garden in the city. The garden is located in the Cathedral Road–Anna Salai junction, opposite the American Consulate
Encompassing an area of 20 acres (320 grounds), it was built at a cost of ₹ 80 million. More than 500 species of plants are being grown in the area, in addition to the 80 trees that was already in existence during the development of the park, some of them being more than 100 years old

PARAGLIDING ON EAST COASTAL ROAD

This place is situated in Kanchipuram area, located at a distance of 60 KM from Chennai Airport   by fly2day and around 5 KM from Kanchipuram railway station. You can easily take any public or private transportation to the location

 The participant will be harnessed to a parachute which is towed by a jeep and lifted in air. A flight takes you to 200-400 feet according to flow of the wind that will last for 5-10 minutes. Permitted age is 12 years to 45 years and permitted weight is 40 kg to 110 kg.

BIRLA  PLANETARIUM 

 The Planetarium is considered in the modern world as an Indoor - Universe. The Planetarium has provisions to execute diurnal, annual, latitudinal and precessional motions. The special effect projectors inside the Planetarium recreate some of the most awe-inspiring astronomical phenomena on the specially perforated aluminium inner dome.

ANNA ZOOLOGICAL PARK

The first public zoological park of India, Arignar Zoological Park aka Vandalur Zoo is located in Vandalur. It was established in 1855, affiliated with the Central Zoo Authority of India. Thanks to its impeccable management that it is still one of the most popular tourist attractions locally; visited by large groups of tourists all year round. It is said that within a year, the zoo had over 300 animals which included mammals, birds, and even reptiles. And eventually, the zoological park ended up being a popular tourist attraction in Madras. Later on, it was then transferred to the Madras Corporation and was shifted to People’s Park near Chennai Central railway station.

VEDATHANGAL MAHABALLIPURAM 

 Vedanthangal is the oldest water bird sanctuary in the country. Vedanthangal in Tamil language means 'hamlet of the hunter'.

 This area was a favourite hunting spot of the local landlords in the early 18th century Vedanthangal Bird Sanctuary is a 30-hectare (74-acre) protected area located in the Chengalpattu District and Madurantakam taluk of the state of Tamil Nadu, India.

 The sanctuary is about 75 kilometres (47 mi) from Chennai on National Highway 45 ([NH45]). Easily reachable from Madurantakam and Chengalpattu.

MUTTUKAADU BOATING AND CROCODILE PARK

Muttukadu Lake is the backwater between MGM & Kovalam beach and on the way to Mahabalipuram we can access it from the East Coast Road. Muttukadu Lake is located around 30 KM from Chennai. You can enjoy rowing, windsurfing, water skiing, Aqua scooters, and explore all other watersports here. This boathouse was inaugurated in 1984 since then this place has been a lucky weekend getaway for locals as well as outsiders. If you plan to visit Muttukadu backwater and take a boat trip in the Lake of Muttukadu, then do plan your trip between October and February.

VGP GOLDEN BEACH

VALLUVAR KOTTAM

The Valluvar Kottam, located in Chennai, is one such historical monument which is dedicated to the well-known intellectual poet, philosopher and saint, Thiruvalluvar, who penned his well-known Thirukkural more than 2,000 years ago. All the 133 chapters of the Thirukkural comprise of 1330 verses.

 It was built by M. Karunanidhi, the then Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu, dating back to 1975 – 1976. It stands on the place of a lake which was then used as a dumping ground for the garbage of the entire city
